During the May 30, 2024 State of Play, PlayStation showcased a new trailer for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake, this one focusing on Angela Orosco, a young woman searching for her missing mother who crosses paths with James Sunderland multiple times during his journey through the fog-shrouded town.

The trailer also includes a brief glimpse of a "familiar face," hinting at the return of a fan-favorite character. Bloober Team, the developer behind the remake, has stated that the project is "only a few months away," with a release date announcement expected soon.
